Nexeya is currently seeking a Test Technician for our Markham office.

​

The role is dynamic and will evolve over time according to the needs of the business.

 

Role & Responsibilities

• The Test Technician conducts electrical testing of integrated circuits, printed circuit boards, power supplies, boards, sub-assemblies and final products. 

• Ensures products are performing to design specifications.

• Must be able to read and successfully interpret work orders and instruction manuals to determine job setup, equipment requirements and testing procedures to be used.

• Must be able to interpret data and analyze test results, complete paperwork accurately and thoroughly within company’s quality assurance standards.

• Follow current and develop new QDM (Quality Documentation Manual) procedures.

• Enter all required data into Quality Management System.

• Strong ability to test low and medium voltage (some high voltage) products.

• Debug failed setups.

• Resolve problem setups by using systematic analytical analysis.

• Analyze problems for improvements in quality and efficiencies.

• Prepare detailed service and failure records.

• Ability to meet project deadlines and strong focus on customers.

• Experience with system commissioning and testing.

• Work with engineers, technicians, production personnel and others regarding test results and to resolve problems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in Product Testing OR Graduated from a diploma in Computer Hardware Systems or Electronics Preferred Prerequisites

• Tech savvy – passionate about Technology

• Experienced in troubleshooting electronics

• Experience in Customer Service 

• Detail oriented and highly organized
