The MPT2 Series Tester and CTX Series Tester have built-in safety systems:
Interlocks:
The High Voltage is wired through two interlock mechanisms:
EPO and User EPO. These two mechanisms can be used as emergency high voltage shut off.
Software Safety:
The MPT2 and CTX can be program to not perform a High Voltage tests should a product fail either continuity or isolation.
The MPT2 and CTX can be programmed to pause before running a High Voltage test. The operator is prompted to continue.
